SAMSARA'S EDGE
This project was a collaboration between Haunted by Waters co-founder David Hannibal and myself. Released in 2001, the Samsara’s Edge CD was an intensive studio project which took 2 years to produce. With lots of dark and light contrasts in the music, it has an ambient, moody sound. The 8 songs on the CD are a heavily atmospheric blend of multi-textured electronics, hypnotic grooves & trip-hop beats with lots of other-worldly flavored vocals throughout. Local poet & artist Juan Domingo throws a couple of mesmerizing spoken word pieces into the musical pot. "...One of the most striking releases of the year...edgy yet sensual...." (Backroads Music)

HAUNTED BY WATERS
Haunted By Waters was a much-loved Bay Area-based group of cutting edge musicians who created an exiting and cross-cultural blend of music during the 90's. Featuring strong Middle Eastern influences, Celtic-tinged vocals, driving rhythms & soaring synth sounds. "...Like the Dust" is a beautiful album which celebrates spirit, unity and diversity.....At once ancient and futuristic, Haunted By Waters seamlessly combine a galaxy of diverse influences and instrumentation into a cohesive and moving soundscape...."(BAM Magazine). TRADITIONAL CELTIC
This is from a recording of traditional Celtic songs, made a few years ago with guitarist/singer-songwriter Paul Burton. This one never made it out the door but it is always a treat for me to sing some of these beautiful and haunting Irish songs, many of which I have heard since childhood.
BIG CITY ORCHESTRAW
Not exactly an orchestra by any normal definition, the legendary and prolific BCO has been around since the late 70's recording noise, noisey music, and a myriad of other aurally-inspired oddities such as operas, sea shanties and TV themesong remixes. I appear on more than a few of their numerous recordings. Here's a personal favorite.... The Consumer CD.
